“Alex and the group are the gateway drug to the wide variety of art and cultural events in and around nyc. If I didn’t join women of culture I would still be going to the same 2 museums (the met and the moma) and priding myself as an art lover without knowing how truly deprived I was. Also you will make new friends quite easily n quickly all within a supportive artistic community.

“This is a great way to see different parts of New York and get outside of your regular arts and culture comfort zone. Every event is carefully planned and curated, so I feel confident going to events I might not normally seek out. I know anything I go to will be a positive experience with a group of similar minded women of all kinds of backgrounds, ages, interests, and professional lives.
Women of Culture is a great way for locals and newcomers to connect with the city and each other in ways beyond the typical happy hour. Sharing an art/culture experience enables wonderfully rich conversation and a point of connection that isn't alcohol focused (though we do enjoy some lovely wine and cocktails at many events!).
But! Choosing to do an event with Women of Culture during your NYC travels would be WELL worth it. It's a great way to have a more boutique arts experience and to do something outside the typical tourist realm.

“I have attended several Women of Culture events and each one has been lovely! Alex does a wonderful job of curating fun and interesting cultural events all around the city. She is so versed and connected in the NYC art world. She offers many things I never would have known about on my own. And on top of that, she gives us a great insider experience.
I also really enjoy meeting the other women in the group. Alex has done an excellent job of building a community of diverse women. I go to as many events as I can and I would highly recommend the group to anyone else who is interested in exploring NYC culture and looking to meet other awesome women.
