More about Stella Badalyan:

With degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling, Stella Badalyan has been empowering people and communities as a Therapist and Certified Life Coach since 2012. She also completed Art and Design courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Her passion for Psychology and Art led her to create and lead various self-discovery workshops through creative arts such as ART THERAPY, MINDFULNESS, MIND-BODY CONNECTION, SELF-DISCOVERY THROUGH BODY MOVEMENT, etc.

Constantly discovering and unfolding different methods that make a more significant difference in people's lives, Stella incorporates tools and techniques from the fields of both psychotherapy and life coaching to create innovative programs in Art Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, Psychodynamic, Psychosomatic Bodywork, Energy Psychology, and Mind-Body Communication methods.

Stella notes that a person doesn’t need to have any artistic talent to benefit from Art Therapy. It is not designed to develop artistic skills, but to advance the process of creation that provides many different psychological benefits mentioned above. Also, working through creative arts is not limited only to visual arts such as painting, drawing, collage, and sculpture. It has widespread therapeutic techniques that include poetry, drama, dance, music, and more.
