Spring Paint & Sip Night: Watercolor Florals Workshop on May 14th

During a two-hour workshop with Danielle Rothman of Rothbyrn’s Creative (www.rothbyrnscreative.com), we learned the basics of painting with watercolors and then practice making flowers such as roses, tulips, lavender, and peonies using artist-grade supplies from Holbein. Celebrating Abstraction: Private Tour of Hilma af Klint Exhibit on January 12th

The “staggering” exhibition of Klint’s paintings at the Guggenheim is the first major solo exhibition in the US devoted to this visionary artist’s work and is a rare opportunity to experience her long under-recognized artistic achievements. We had the pleasure of exploring this “flabbergasting retrospective” during our own private guided tour, followed by a delicious brunch with girlfriends old and new at Gina La Fornarina. An Afternoon at the Photography Show + Brunch on April 7th

We explored one of the world's most prestigious annual photography events! The Photography Show, put on by the Association of International Photography Art Dealers, is the premier exhibit dedicated to all forms of photography and includes a wide range of museum-quality work from the 19th-century through present day. We saw the amazing New Combinations program, which features a world premiere by Justin Peck in his fourth collaboration with Sufjan Stevens, an encore performance of The Runaway by Kyle Abraham, and the first full performances of William Forsythe's Herman Schmerman since 1964. The Art of Wine: An Evening of Wine & Entrepreneurship on January 14th

An evening of wine tasting, girl-bonding and discussion at a female-owned wine bar Local & Vine. We got to sit down with owner, Nicole Caputo, as she discussed her experience as a female entrepreneur, the challenges of opening a restaurant in NYC, and of course, the art of wine! She also guided us through a tasting of a few of her favorite local wines while we snacked on delicious appetizers and bonded with girlfriends old and new. See photos from the event here
