Fresh Perspectives on the Visual Arts on June 19th

Held at the new Current Museum of Art, we sat down with three art world experts: Holly Hager of Curatious, Kristina Adduci of ArtZealous and Beckie Warren of @Girlseesart, who helped demystify the inner workings of the art world while discussing the important effect art has on the individual and society at large.

Art & Nature Afternoon at the MET on May 12th 

Led by Art Historian Lauren Kaplan, we experienced a special guided tour of two phenomenal exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, that demonstrated how artists have responded to their natural environment.

Art in Bloom: Weekend of Culture in Washington, DC on April 5th 

During the National Cherry Blossom Festival at Washington DC, we stayed at the heart of the city and experienced the best the city has to offer in the way of art, architecture, theater, food — and of course — flowers!

Art on Paper: Champagne Reception & Self-Guided Tour on March 10th 

During Armory arts week, we had time to view  the ingenious Art on Paper fair on our own after a private champagne reception.

A Lower East Side Afternoon at the Galleries on June 9th 

Following a delicious brunch at Vandal, we spent an afternoon of art and exploration in Manhattan's Lower East Side neighborhood. With veteran art critic Merrily Kerr as our guide, we got know this vibrant and ever-changing neighborhood in a whole new way — through its art!

Mean Girls on Broadway on June 1st 

We went to see Mean Girls, the ferociously funny new musical that gets to the hilarious heart of what it means to be a true friend, a worthy nemesis, and above all, a human being. We all know the movie, but to see it enacted live - and in song, was an entirely different and enjoyable experience!

With our 3 panelists: Anita Rogers, Danika Druttman and Lisa Small, we received a sneak peek into three different facets of the art world, learned about their unique careers and discussed how they have each overcome some of the hurdles women face in this male-dominated industry.

New York City Ballet with Backstage Tour of the Costume Department on February 4th 

We experienced a fantastic matinee of the New York City Ballet, along with a backstage tour led by the Director of the Costume Department!
