Let's spend an afternoon diving into New York fashion and feminism at the Museum of the City of New York on Saturday February 24th.
First, we will mingle over a delicious brunch at the Lexington Social (1634 Lexington Ave) before heading over to this hidden gem of a museum for a guided tour of not one, but two, very different but equally fascinating exhibits.
The first, Beyond Suffrage, traces women’s political activism in New York City from the struggle to win the vote, through the 20th century, and into our own times. The second, Mod New York, explores the full arc of 1960s fashion, shedding new light on a period marked by tremendous and daring stylistic diversity.
All tickets include 1 brunch entree + drink and guided tour of the museum. Early bird pricing through 2/9 at midnight.
