An LES Afternoon: Street Art Tour + Brunch | June 2nd

from 45.00

We are teaming up with Women Who Brunch to bring you the best of both worlds: an afternoon full of art AND brunch, featuring a street art tour of the Lower East Side.

First, we will enjoy a delicious brunch at LES hot-spot, Rosie’s. Then we will dive into the rich history and contemporary urban art culture of the neighborhood with Grafftours, an artist-run company whose mission is to help people connect with this often misunderstood craft.

The tour will highlight historic landmarks like CBGB's music hall and modern day street artists like Shepard Fairey, TKID and JCORP. It will finish the tour by standing where Keith Haring once painted underneath Manhattan's largest street art mural.

What better way to spend a summer Sunday than brunching and exploring the street art of one of New York’s most artful neighborhoods?

All tickets include 1.5 hour street art tour. Full experience tickets include 3-course family style brunch + coffee or tea as well. Any additional food or drink can be ordered and paid for at the restaurant.

More About GraffTours:
As the first ever street art tour in NYC, Graff Tours’s mission is to connect people with the street art and graffiti culture. All of their tours are run by artists, and they are also involved in supporting street artists and graffiti aficionados through commissions.

More about Women Who Brunch:
Women Who Brunch was founded as a way to support, connect and inspire fellow women in a comfortable atmosphere over the most important meal of the week, brunch! We host the most influential and inspiring women every month over brunch and mimosas. Each month we pick a new restaurant, speaker, and topic, making for a completely unique dining experience.

More about Women of Culture:
Women of Culture is a community designed to connect, inspire and empower NYC-area women through meaningful engagement with the arts. Born out of the belief that the arts are the antidote to the divisiveness and loneliness currently plaguing our society, the organization has successfully brought together over 400 women to experience the arts, broaden their horizons and discover new perspectives, all while deepening their connection to themselves and to one another. It serves as proof that the elevation of the arts is paramount to building a more tolerant, open and equal society in which empathy, purpose and creativity are prioritized.
